About

What is the purpose of your blog?
This blog is my journal and photo album rolled into one. This is my way of keeping a record of interesting experiences that I have had. This also serves as a medium of letting my friends know of what I am up to.

Why does your blog have less text and more photos?

Because I find it easier to click than to write.

When did you start clicking?
I got my first camera in 2005. It was a 4 megapixel point and shoot from kodak. For the next three and a half years I carried it along wherever I went and took a great deal of pictures. Along the way I got some photographic sense injected into me by the photography club people in my college and I began realizing the limitations of my camera. Then in the summer of 2008 an internship at a superb place gave me the chance to earn my first salary and I happily went ahead and bought myself a new camera.

So what equipment do you use now?

I use a Canon 450D with a canon 70-300 mm lens most of the times. I occasionally use the 18-55 mm kit lens that came with the camera, a tripod and a shutter release.

What else do you do?
I did a lot of other things in college including hobby electronics, programming and Taekwondo. Right now I am trying hard to find time for all that stuff.

Where are you from?
I was born and brought up in an idyllic town called Namrup in the northeastern state of Assam in India. At present I live in Pune.

What do you do for a living?
I work as a hardware design engineer for a semiconductor company.
